Your appointment, start to finish
- A standard tuning takes around 90 minutes. We recommend allowing at least 2 hours — we’re passionate about what we do, and we want that extra time on hand in case your piano needs a little bit more.
- Catch-up and vintage services can take longer — they need extra care and, often, a pitch raise before fine tuning.
- Every tuning includes an action and pedal check, with minor adjustments included.
- The quieter the room, the better the results — tuning is done by careful listening, so pausing TVs, music and noisy appliances during the visit makes a real difference.
- Please take any items off the piano before we arrive — photos, ornaments, sheet music — as the piano is opened up for tuning.
- Cash and card both accepted, with a receipt emailed at the end of every appointment.
